Meet the Counseling Staff
9th Grade Counselor Ms. Scott Degrees and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Sociology, M.Ed in K-12 School Counseling Ms. Scott has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Florida Atlantic University and has her M.Ed. in K-12 School Counseling also from Florida Atlantic University. Her education and training are based on the American School Counselor Association’s (ASCA) National Model. This is her 11th year in the counseling profession and her 6th with PPCHS. In her free time, Ms. Scott enjoys going to the movies with her family and is an 80's enthusiast. She loves all things Harry Potter related, not so secretly believes in magic, and enjoys places of ice and snow. |
10th Grade Counselor Mrs. Plaskett Degrees and Certifications: Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Communications Arts and a Master of Science Degree in School Counseling Mrs. Plaskett has worked with students from K-12 and understands the developmental milestones and external factors that impact overall student success. Her focus is to help students reach their fullest potential by focusing on their social/emotional, academic, and career needs, so that they make a smooth and positive transition into their post secondary life, whether they decide to go to college, military or straight into the workforce. In her spare time, Mrs. Plaskett enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling with her family. |
11th Grade Counselor Mrs. Maycock Degrees and Certifications: Bachelors in Psychology with a Minor in Health Administration, Masters in School Counseling Mrs Maycock earned a Bachelors and Masters degree from Florida Atlantic University. She has worked as a School Counselor for 7 years and also serves as Head Track and Field coach. Ms. Maycock's priority as a counselor is that her 9th and 10th graders are able to connect with at least two staff members to enhance their high school experience allowing them to feel loved and supported. Her hobbies include running, sports, cooking and spending time with her family. |
12th Grade Counselor Ms. Perez Degrees and Certifications: Bachelors in Psychology, Masters in School Counseling Ms. Perez has been a part of the Charter family as a school counselor since 2013. She is dedicated to ensuring that her students feel supported, not only in academics but emotionally as well. She thrives on making connections with her students so that they always feel valued. In her free time Ms. Perez enjoys being a Cheer Mom to her two daughters and exercising. |
Mrs. Moses Degrees and Certifications: Bachelors in Psychology, Dual Masters in Psychology and School Counseling Mrs. Moses worked as a school counselor for 10 years before joining the Jaguar family in 2017. She recognizes the importance of the school counseling department and is very focused on supporting her team in providing the highest quality support services for all students. Her goal is to provide a student-centered environment that promotes each student's academic success, emotional health and personal growth. Mrs. Moses' philosophy is to never stop learning, growing and working towards your highest potential. |
