Today's Announcements

· Attention fellow comic fans! We urgently need your help to raise money in support of Reach Out and Read. We need to unite in order to assist helping promote literacy nationwide among children. Call the Avengers to raise funds for creating a stable foundation for their future. During A&B lunches 3/18 through 3/21 we will be selling limited edition bookmarks of your favorite DC and Marvel superheroes. In a snap, it costs 50% of the population for 50 cents each. We hope this will help you blast your way through your favorite books!

· Dance Benefit auditions will be held in the River of Grass auditorium April 3rd starting promptly at 2p. It is on a first come first serve basis for the audition line up. Please have music cut and ready as well as costume. Please email dnorton@pinescharter.net for any questions or concerns.

· First Priority will meet today Monday, March 18, 2019 in room D210! All students are welcome.

· Attention Class of 2022 - are you interested in becoming a class officer your Sophomore year? There will be a MANDATORY informational meeting tomorrow Tuesday, March 19 at 2:05pm in Ms. Salazar's room (U211).

· Jaguars! Spanish National Honor Society needs your help with the Comparte Por Una Vida drive! This March, we are collecting grains, such as rice and beans! All proceeds go to those in dire need in Venezuela! Please donate to the box placed in your homeroom class. Let’s do our part and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most! The drive will start 3/14 and finish 3/31! Donate, donate, donate!

· Please join us in the final book discussion of the year on Monday, April 22nd during A&B lunch in the library. Enjoy free food and great conversation. We will discuss GOODBYE DAYS by Jeff Zetner. In this book, we follow teenager Carver Briggs after his three best friends are killed in a car crash. To make matters worse, Carver blames himself for the accident since he texted Mars, who was driving, right before the accident. Sign up on the Media Center page of the school website. Grab a book during homeroom all next week before Spring Break!

· The Health and Fitness club is selling 6 time use/buy one get one free cards on smoothies from Jamba Juice for $10. Purchase your card from room C210.

· Students, having trouble in your math class and need some extra help? Then don't forget that Mu Alpha Theta holds tutoring sessions after school in room U205 every Wednesday for all math subjects! We hope to see you there!

· STUDENTS! Don’t forget that NHS sponsors after school tutoring every Monday in room D214 at 2:05 PM. See you there!
