· 1st ever Regional Quarterfinals win by the Lady Jags
Volleyball team.
The Lady Jags defeated Miami Beach Senior High 25-20,
25-22, 25-21

The Lady Jags are now 19-7 heading to the
Regional Semifinals.
Next match is on Tuesday 10/30 vs West Broward
@West Broward at 7 PM.
· "With November fast approaching,
let's make sure no family is left behind in getting the Thanksgiving meal
they deserve. KG4 Club and National Honor Society and are collecting canned
foods for the annual Harvest Drive. Please donate items like canned fruits
& veggies, stuffing, canned beans, soups, and juice to your homeroom
teacher. The class with the most goods collected will win a donut
party!
· The Drama Club Coffee House will be held on October
30th at 2:30pm in the drama room M115. Tickets will be sold at the door for $3. Hope to see you there.
· "Hey Jags, the annual Powder Puff football game, held in honor of Trenton Saunders, will be held tonight Friday, October 26 at 6:30 P.M. at the PPCHS football stadium. All proceeds go to the Trenton C. Saunder's Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will be given to a student at our school. All are welcome to attend!"
· Bonjour, Today - October 26th the French
club will be hosting another meeting where there will be a trivia on the
World Cup. Come prepared to answer tough questions and winners receive a
$20 gift card! Au revoir and we hope to see you there.

Jags! October is a time for us to celebrate our LGBTQ community. Not only
is it historically significant, it's also a chance for us to embrace
diversity while uplifting our LGBTQ friends and family by showing them our
support. In honor of LGBTQ History Month and all it stands for, here is a
quote to ponder from John Lennon: It matters not who you love, where you
love, when you love, or how you love, it only matters that you
love."
· On MUNday, December 10th, we will ALL wear the Human
Rights t-shirts being sold in A and B lunches and S201 after school for $12
until November 16th. Post sale is $15. Show your support for human
rights.
· Girls JV soccer tryouts will be held on Monday, October 29th from 2:15 - 4:30 PM at Silver Lakes North Park (the park across the street from the school). All paperwork must be turned in to Ms. Calero before tryouts in order to participate.
· Girls
basketball tryouts will be on Monday, October 29th at 4:30 PM in the school
gym.
· Boys JV basketball tryouts will be on Monday, November 5th at
2:30 PM in the school gym.
· Boys varsity basketball tryouts will be on
Monday, November 5th at 4:30 PM in the school gym.
