Today's Announcements
· There will be an ISC meeting today Wednesday, October 24th in U113 at 2:10pm. We will organize the collection of goods for the victims of Hurricane Michael.
· Attention all Creative Jags! Are you interested in sharing your poetry, creative writing, or songs with others? Are you interested in being part of a rap duo? Come to OUTLOUD's spooky second meeting today Wednesday, October 24th at 2:10 p.m. in D210. Food will be served & we hope to see you there!
· If you’re feeling sleepy and need a quick nap be sure to visit room D215 today during homeroom club for the PPCHS’s 1st Nap Club informational meeting! Monthly movie showings with food, drinks and more are also part of the club. Be there or be square!

"With November fast approaching, let's make sure no family is left
behind in getting the Thanksgiving meal they deserve. KG4 Club and National
Honor Society and are collecting canned foods for the annual Harvest Drive.
Please donate items like canned fruits & veggies, stuffing, canned
beans, soups, and juice to your homeroom teacher. The class with the most
goods collected will win a donut party!
· The Drama Club Coffee House will be held on October 30th at 2:30pm in the drama room M115. Tickets will be sold at the door for $3. Hope to see you there.
· Class of 2022 - deposit for the 9th grade Epcot trip is due today October 24. Bring deposit to Ms. Salazar in room U211 during homeroom or after school ONLY.
· Hey Jags, PPCHS' annual Powder Puff football game, held in honor of Trenton Saunders, will be held on Friday, October
26 at 6:30 P.M. at the PPCHS football stadium. Sign up outside of U225 to participate. All proceeds go to the Trenton Saunders Foundation Scholarship, which will be given to a student at our school. All are welcome to attend.
· Bonjour, October 26th the French club will be hosting another meeting where there will be a trivia on the World Cup. Come prepared to answer tough questions and winners receive a $20 gift card! Au revoir and we hope to see you there.

October is a time for us to celebrate our LGBTQ community. Not only is it
historically significant, it's also a chance for us to embrace diversity
while uplifting our LGBTQ friends and family by showing them our support.
In honor of LGBTQ History Month and all it stands for, here is a quote to
ponder from John Lennon: It matters not who you love, where you love, when
you love, or how you love, it only matters that you love."

On MUNday, December 10th, we will ALL wear the Human Rights t-shirts being
sold in A and B lunches and S201 after school for $12 until November 16th.
Post sale is $15. Show your support for human rights.
· Tryouts for
the girls soccer teams will continue on Thursday. Tryouts begin at 2:15PM
at the Silver Lakes North Park (soccer fields across the street). All the
required physical and consent forms must be turned in to Ms. Calero in the
front office prior to tryouts. You will not be able to tryout unless the
paperwork is turned in.
· Girls basketball tryouts will be on
Monday, October 29th at 4:30 PM in the school gym.
· Boys JV basketball
tryouts will be on Monday, November 5th at 2:30 PM in the school gym.

Boys varsity basketball tryouts will be on Monday, November 5th at 4:30 PM
in the school gym.
All paperwork must be turned in to Ms. Calero before
tryouts in order to participate.
