Today's Announcements

· Relay for Life will be sponsoring the first annual Walk out to End Childhood Cancer this Thursday during homeroom at the stadium. Wristbands will be sold at A and B lunches for only $1.

· If you are interested in joining the Track & Field team, please complete all Physical & Pre-participation forms and give them to Mrs. Calero in the front office. Conditioning starts October 9th at 2:15 at the Track.

· First Priority will meet in room D210 on Mondays 2:00-3:00 pm.

· "Are you a film fanatic? Are you interested in learning about different films or even making your own? Well then join Film Appreciation Club! Our first meeting will be held on September 25 in room U226 at 2:10! See you then!"

· Hey jags! Don’t forget DJ, MC, and national anthem tryouts for Havana Nights Pep Rally (10/18) are on Tuesday, September 25! It will start at 2:10 in the Mr. Curry’s room (U225).

· Asia Pacific Club is having an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 26th at 2:05 pm in Mrs. Rudd’s room U224. If you’re interested in anime, kpop, manga, film, human rights issues, politics, and other related topics among the Asia Pacific region, then visit us! Please come to U224 to pick up an application.

· Teen Volunteer Expo Coming Soon! Need service hours? Come out to the SWR Library on Saturday, October 6th from 1 -3 PM to learn more about where you can volunteer in your community and sign up for opportunities.

· Spanish Honor Society will continue collecting new/ and gently used Stuffed Animals for the Pembroke Pines Police Department. Remember that the homeroom with the most stuffed animals will receive a breakfast party! So far Mrs. Ramos is in the lead, but there is still more time to catch up. Keep donating !

· Attention all Creative Jags! Are you interested in sharing your poetry, creative writing, or songs with others? Are you interested in being part of a rap duo? Come join OUTLOUD, a creative self-expression club where you can write and perform your ideas. The first meeting will be September 26th at 2:10 p.m. in D210. Hope to see you there!
