Today's Announcements

· Spanish National Honor Society is now collecting Stuffed Animals for the Pembroke Pines Police Department. Bring in GENTLY used or new stuffed animals. Donate before September 27th and your donation will go to a child in need of comfort. The Homeroom with the most Stuffed Animals wins a breakfast party!

· Don’t forget SHS will be holding its annual Spanish Spelling Bee on September 27th, the last day to sign up is Tuesday, September 18th. Tryouts will be held September 20th and 21st. after school in room C201. See you there!

· "Are you a film fanatic? Are you interested in learning about different films or even making your own? Well then join Film Appreciation Club! Our first meeting will be held on September 25 in room U226 at 2:10! See you then!"

· Asia Pacific Club is having an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 26th at 2:05 pm in Mrs. Rudd’s room U224. If you’re interested in anime, kpop, manga, film, human rights issues, politics, and other related topics among the Asia Pacific region, then visit us! Please come to U224 to pick up an application.

· Teen Volunteer Expo Coming Soon! Need service hours? Come out to the SWR Library on Saturday, October 6th from 1 -3 PM to learn more about where you can volunteer in your community and sign up for opportunities.

Over the weekend, our JV volleyball team won the Knights Invite JV Tournament hosted by Monarch High School.
