· Attention all book worms! Interested in participating in the Battle of the Books? Attend the first Book Club meeting today Wednesday, September 5th after school from 2-3 pm in the SW Regional Library Teen Room located on the first level. Please note: If you can't make it after school, swing by S225 during homeroom on Thursday or Friday to check out books and find out how you can still share your love for books!
· Looking for a way to do your part in finding a cure for cancer? Relay for Life will be holding an informational meeting today Wednesday, September 5th during homeroom in the River of Grass Auditorium. New, exciting changes are happening this year! See Mrs. Hyacinth in U233 if you cannot attend.
· “Do you love animals? The Humane Society is the perfect club for you! The Humane Society Club is having its first informational meeting on September 12th after school in Mrs. Hernandez’s room in D121!”
· Attention Class of 2022, are you interested in running for a Class Officer position? If so, there will be an informational meeting for the freshman class in Ms. Salazar's room (U211) on Monday, September 17 at 2:05. Hope to see you there!
· Attention all Jaguars with a passion for math! Applications to join Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society) for the 2018-2019 school year are now available in Mrs. Guzman’s room (U205). Turn them in to room U205 Today to ensure your application is reviewed. Good luck, and go jags!
· Are you interested in cooking? Tasting the cuisine of different cultures? Then stop by room C109 to pick up your Culinary Club application. Applications are due Thursday, September 6th to room C109.
· Spanish National Honor Society is now collecting Stuffed Animals for the Pembroke Pines Police Department. Bring in GENTLY used or new stuffed animals. Your donation will go to a child in need of comfort during a crime scene. The Homeroom with the most Stuffed Animals wins a breakfast party!
· If you were unable to attend the Rho Kappa informational meeting, applications are still available outside Mrs. Hyacinth’s room (U233). All applications are due to Mrs. Hyacinth by September 11th at 2:10 p.m.
· Are you interested in anime, cartoons, movies, and anything relating to the history of animation? Then, join us on Friday, September 7th at 2:10 in room D123 to check out Animation Nation. It's where Charter gets animated.
· Hey Jags! Are you interested in science? Experiments? Saving the environment? The Science Club and Science National Honor Society application deadline has been moved to this Thursday, September 6th.
